Another inconsiderate person

Met up with a friend last night for dinner. We went to have Sushi Tei as she wanted to. She's rather a big eater and sometimes I'm just on the losing end if I were to go out dining with her. Probably it would be much worthwhile to have buffet instead. But nevertheless, I went for the appointment as we haven't met up for long.

As usual, she kept comparing my salary with hers and commented that I should enjoy eating more as need not save so much money. From my point of view is that I'm not a big eater and if I were to overeat, I'd throw up most likely after the meal. And I save for rainy days, not that I'm being stingy. I spend in other areas too which she didn't see. She likes to go for those cheap services. For me, I don't. I only go for those which I think is convenient for myself.

Then during dinner, she told me that she had to go off at about 9-10pm as her friend would be coming to give her a lift home!

Well, both of us are staying in the west and can't she just either ask the friend to give me a lift as well and drop me at somewhere in the west? Or couldn't she just take train and accompany me too? She expected me to stay with her until when her friend was ready to go and pick her up.

Chey! She thinks I'm goondu or what? Of course I wasn't happy about it and it's written all over my face. She still had the cheek to ask me why was I looking so grumpy. I told her I was just being tired and wanted to go home. She said that it was only 9pm and I wanted to go home so soon. I told her the shops were already closing and there's nothing much to shop around.

I went back and she went to look for her friend to pick her up. Sometimes just can't understand why are people so inconsiderate. Annoying.... >.<

Insecure relationships

Just met up with a friend last night for dinner, learnt from her that one of the ex classmates got divorced. I was rather surprised as they were a model couple in school days and the husband was a goody boy from my school.

Well, from the looks of it, things are really unpredictable.

Another friend, J, told me he got divorced was because his wife and he had long working hours and that both of them seldom meet. One day, he could not withstand the loneliness any longer and asked for a divorce.

At first, I thought that he was just not being understanding as both had to work. Both of them should salvage their marriage. Communication is the key factor. However, until recently from what I encountered, I really truly understand how J felt. That kind of loneliness could be unbearable. If there's communication and interaction from each other, be in MSN, SMS, or any other means, I guess even without seeing each other is alright. But with no response from the other party is as good as he is dead!

It always holds true that only until when we are in the position of the person's shoe do we understand how they feel.

I rest my case.

Do I belong here... or... ?

It's one of those days again. I just can't find anyone to go out with. Sometimes I wonder if I just belong to this world. Maybe one of these days I'd just leave this world quietly. Anyway, nobody would even notice my absence. Nobody would even be bothered to entertain me. It's just quite meaningless to live on. I'm just sick of all these nonsense where everyone gives the same excuse of being busy. It seems that I'm the most free around. If I'm really that annoying, just tell me off! Don't have to shun away from me! Idiots........
