I went to Lot 1 Home-Fix The D.I.Y store to buy a extension socket and made payment via credit card. Apparently the credit card terminal wasn't able to capture the credit card number when the cashier swiped my card. There was a male customer behind me and he had not finalised his shopping items. He took out his UOB credit card for payment as well. Then he went to shop for his items again and quickly came back.
In the meantime, I quickly changed to another credit card for payment. This time, it seems the machine was able to capture something. Just then, the male customer asked "Can you make it faster?"
The cashier replied "The transaction is in progress."
The male customer asked again "Would it be faster if I make payment in cash?"
I looked at him. What the hell are you trying to hint? I'm not the one who is slow, ok? Can't you just WAIT?! W-A-I-T WAIT!! It's not even more than 5 mins that all these happened.
The cashier didn't know how to use the credit card terminal and he seems so clumsy using it, didn't even know which button to press. And it could be the credit card machine that is faulty! To make things worse, the cashier asked me "Is your card over the limit?" I said loudly "NO!" I felt like telling him, "It's alright, I'll test my cards out in my office using our own credit card terminal and see if it's the problem with my credit cards or your credit card terminal."
Why would guys talk like that? Don't they have brains? It all drills down to the word "service"! And the male customer behind me, even if he's in a hurry, can't he just put in in a more polite manner "Excuse me, I'm in a hurry. Would you be able to process my payment first?" Rather than "Can you make it faster?"
Siao ah! I not happy lah! I don't want to let you pay first, can or not ah?!
Pissed... and really pissed....
