To Promote His Professionalism At The Expense of My Own Safety?

I saw a tuition assignment at some online website. It's a tuition assignment to a Sec 3 Express student in Marsiling for Accounting subject. The commission is only at 30% when the norm is usually 50%. Hence, I smsed to a number stated in the website to let them know that I am interested in the assignment.

In the evening, the agent called to ask if the student can come to my house for tuition lesson. I told the agent that it's not convenient to have tuition at my house. Then he said the student's brother suggested that I conduct the lesson at MacDonald's. I told him it's not possible as there'll be a lot of distractions at Mac. Agent said I can also conduct at library. I told him we can't even talk much in library, how to conduct lesson there? The agent even suggested we have the tuition at void deck!

Then I told the agent that I would forgo the assignment since it's so inconvenient. I asked the agent if the student's place was near the MRT station but he didn't answer my question.

A while later, the agent smsed me again if I would still be keen if the parents allow me to go over to their house for tuition. I replied him it's alright, I'd prefer female students and I thanked him.

He replied again, telling me to reconsider as he had already spoken to the parents upon my request and it's not professional for him to tell the parents that I can't make it now.

I've been taking tuition assignments for the past 10 years. It's the first time I come across this kind of agent. I felt like replying him if it's professional for him to insist a tutor to get an assignment when she's not comfortable with the student? OR would it be professional if the tutor taught for one month and quit the assignment?

This assignment is just so fishy. Why should I promote his professionalism at the expense of my own safety? I didn't agree to take up the assignment in the first place. He could have used his professionalism to tell the parents that he'll get other tutors in a tactful way. Most likely is that they don't have resources to take up that particular assignment. Given such weird requests, who would still want to take the assignment? Duhz...
