The Ultimate Facial Spa

Just came back from the facial at The Ultimate Pte Ltd at Singapore Civil Service Club. It's the first time I'm going to that Club. Hmmm... not much facilities there though.

The facial was ok lor... the facial products was very rich and used in abundance on my face. The environment was hot there. To make things worse, the therapist went to switch on the heater as she thought I might feel cold =.="

Nevertheless, I'd say the massages were quite good. I also thought of bringing my mom there for the facial and massages. I think she'll like it =)

After the session ended, as usual, the sales and marketing personnel will psycho us to sign up their packages. Actually I don't quite like to be committed to any packages. Huiping got persuaded very easily lor. She was so tempted to sign up the package. The package costs $1,888 before GST!!! The package includes 10+10 facial sessions with 5 free eye repairs and 5 hand paraffins.

I told Huiping True Spa offers a much cheaper package at only $40+ per session. However, Huiping said the service there wasn't very good. She prefers the one at The Ultimate but I think the package is rather costly. Hence, I told the lady that it's over our budget and the number of sessions are just too many for me. She counter offer an 8+8 sessions. She seems rather inexperience and not very skilful in her sales talk.

However, Huiping likes the facial service very much. I tried to bargain for more. We managed to get 6 free eye repairs and 6 mini cyclo. Today's facial session worth $180 are also given to us free! =D There's also free usage for steam bath and jacuzzi. I think it's almost the same everywhere lor.

Ok lah... since it's a good bargain and Huiping likes it, we take up the package. There's a 0% interest free instalments, hence we pay in 12 instalments i.e. $67.33 per month. Now I've a 12 month liability of $808 lor... =p
